My goals are the sort of thing I return to focus regularly but that often get pushed aside. I know one of my biggest stumbling blocks as a writer is a lack of willpower and this causes me issues when it comes to prioritizing my goals and following through on making them happen. It's frustrating and scary sometimes and one of my primary goals at the moment is to overcome this.
Other goals include, rewriting, read, rewrite, edit, and longterm publish The Dating Game. I also have future goals that involve writing more than one book. My short term goals involve regular writing, daily blog (let down on this atm), poetry, entering contests and my poetry group.
I feel it's important to keep a clear focus on he future. There is a quote on my desk that seems particularly apt today, "If you don't know where you are going, you may miss it when you get there."
