This is exactly why I avoid outlining. I am easily bored, once everything's mapped out and I know where it's going. I have to discover the story as I go, just as I would if I were reading it. The only thing that helps me is to dive in and write by the seat of my pants - to take notes as I go to ensure that I don't change little details (names, eye color, favorite foods, locations, dates, facts) along the way, once they're established.
