Colours: Backgrounds and Dk Blue

Writing ML has great colours, but I have found a A Dark Blue would be handy, (I know there already is a dark purple)...
Also the ability to change the background colour of would be handy....
As much as I like the default Lt. Yellow, being able to choose a different background opens up my options as to what colours I can use in the forground, and makes yellow better to see if its used as a foreground...
