If you're aiming for time travel/hyper-speed transport, you came to the right man. Although I know little about the Einstien-thingies, I do know much about time travel. A wormhole could be used to drastically shorten the distance between point A and point B. The problem is that wormholes are incredibly tiny, and after being formed, collapse so fast that not even light gets through. You'd need a material that has anti-gravity (IE it repels things instead of attracting them), and create a ring of that on the inside of the wormhole. Bonus: If you put enough of this material, also known as "exotic matter", in the wormhole, the anti-gravity will not only stabilize it, it will also increase the size so that a person could get through. Time travel is also a possibility with the wormhole, just have one end farther in the future than the other. Enter through the future end and you're in the past. Of course, wormholes don't nessecarilly need a black hole to be formed. (Please note, although black holes are closer to fact than theory, wormholes and white holes (black holes in reverse: they spit out everything the black hole eats, and they propel it out at near-light speed.) are theory.)
