My problem seems to be that inspiration always strikes when I'm going to class or work, or some other place I can't possibly write. Then, later on when I finally sit down to make it happen, the stuff that winds up on the page seems infinitely less brilliant than what I was thinking eight hours ago. I've been considering buying a tape recorder so I can record ideas, phrases, plot points, etc., on the go, and transcribe it later. You see writers do this a lot in movies.
