I generally have a characteristic I want that character to portray so whenever possible I find a name that has that meaning. I love www.babynamesworld.com. Sometimes I want a name to be celtic so it helps me to find a name like that. I also look for names that are can be shortened or are not totally mainstream.
LMAO Lori. I don't put insert name here when I dont' have a name for someone I just put a line _____________ to tell me to insert name. I do that a lot on secondary and tertiary characters.
