I love to keep abreast of current trends in new technology and discoveries. As a sci-fi writer, using these to stimulate new ideas and even supplement present writing is a MUST have.
I think my greatest source of present inspiration online would definitely have to be http://www.livescience.com/ . I wanted to share this because I think it is a MUST for passionate sci fi writers- they also have a section called "science of fiction" where they share science discoveries that were previously created in scifi books! It is fascinating to see how writers such as ourselves have stumbled upon reality in our fiction without even knowing it!
I encourage others who have good spots for real science data to share them.
