I personally write and write until I get blocked or something. But since I'm not necesarily writing the story from beginning to end I re-read what I've written and make edits like if I want to say something else or add something somewhere and then I also decide if another scene should be added somewhere and make a note about what I want. I'm moving along really well acutally I think.
I'll take a break of a few days to a week from my main story that I hope to become my novel because if I don't I'll end up getting bored with it and stop writing all together. I don't want that to happen because I really want to finish this story. I have a long way to go but at the moment I have 68 pages and 21,420 words. With more to type in my notebook. Which excites me to no end. I've never finished anything but short stories and poems.
