Well, it takes a while for antidepressants to work. And even once they start working it takes a long time, a lot of work, and a lot of determination to get through this. It is going to be really hard. The pills will help. But not everything - there's still you. Still your life situation. Still the fact that cutting is a choice. But I know you can make it. Just know that you are allowed to fail. I know how hard it is, I know how many times I tried to stop and couldn't - but now I'm at a point where I can say I did. And I know that you can't see that point from where you're at. I just hope that the antidepressants work and help you deal with this and whatever else you're dealing with. Just know we're here for you, every step of the way, (no matter how corny that sounds).
