Note regarding King: You know, I realize the guy is a prolific horror writer. That's been his meal ticket for any numbr of years. However, he's also written some acclaimed mainstream pieces. The Shawshank Redemption and Stand By Me come immediately to mind. He's quite a talent.

And now, I've got to catch up on some reading. You people have been busy!
