Spring 2006 SLAM! - Congrats to the winners - see you all next time! |
Lover of This Place I am a lover of the place, One where I still love to go, To find relief from the stress of life; To be where I can feel at home. I've lived in many places Yet my escape remained the same. A constant in my changing world, Here lived the key to hope. Many treasures there were, kept within, My secret hideaway. Amid life's many challenges, Here I found my rest. In loneliness, there was company; In confusion, solitude; In grief, comfort there I found; And sanity in chaos. Dreams were formed and fueled, Within this sacred space; Adventures birthed and lived. Here, so much of who I am, Was crafted deep within. Many found their secret spot, In hidden rooms or garden's soil, Upon the lake, or seated in a grove. Yet, to my taste, none can match, The splendor of my private home. Quietly and carefully hidden, In a silent corner of my mind. "Invalid Item" |
