"You're an ugly, fat, stupid FREAK!"
my sister taunts, with twisted lips.
And off I run, solace to seek.
"Buffalo butt! Hippo hips!"

My sister taunts, with twisted lips;
every day spewing the same insults:
"Buffalo butt! Hippo hips!"
In causing me pain, she exults.

Every day spewing the same insults,
she banishes me to my hiding place.

gleeful savagery on her face.

High in a tree, I go to escape
gleeful savagery on her face;
to read, to soothe my inscape.
