But, since you ask, I believe the same thing which is the theological position taken by both the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and the Catholic Church in Rome. To wit...
God created the world and everything in it. Science is in the not yet perfected, on-going process of learning the details of how he did it. Genesis is a clear statement of faith made long ago, when we weren't advanced enough to understand the detailed version. The truth in Genesis is that he did indeed do it. Knowledge of the details is good to know, but not a necessity for faith.
If you disagree, it does not bother me in the slightest. I have had too many arguments with my little brother on this subject to be bothered much by it, anymore.
