I am in a writing group, called SFWG, and we are constantly reviewing each others books and other items. We get credit for each item we review, similar to the way your review system works, except we get credit for each chapter of the books we review. But currently you can only review books once within the WDC system and then you have too send an e-mail each time you review the next chapter. Books are much different then static items, and you rarely read them in one sitting. So what I would like to propose is maybe changing the system so each individual chapter could be reviewed. This should work for novel and journals, but I don’t believe it should work for blogs, their entries tend to be very short. The major benefited here is that reviews are saved in our feedback section, while e-mails are not, and lets face it, e-mails get lost That means if you have a book of lets say five chapters, four of the chapter’s reviews are not being saved. Secondly this may increase the number of reviews on book items since people could get more review credits for them. Thank you and with all do respect. R.L.
