Promt #8. Write a recipe poem. Find a recipe write about it, or make up a recipe, or write about writing recipes. ANGIE Angie had a catering business Her recipe creations, grew and grew Her food was known for the best in the west Through out northern B.C. Especially Prince Rupert In the home town where her fame became celebrity status Her foods dawned every celebrated banquet table From near an far, the people loved her cookin' Even a Premier of B.C. she cooked up a storm for! One day a nasty food inspector arrived at her door "You have quite the business" he said "But alas I must close you down. I see you have two refrigerators, in your kitchen that will not do!" Angie detested "One is for my business, one is for my family" Mr. Health Inspector said "Ah, yes but the law says you must have a separate kitchen to hold such public foods!" He stamped the Inspection Notice "Closed" till futher a do! Angie seen red but she was a smart ol' girl! She figured out what to do How to trick that ol' Health Inspector. A second hand refrigerator was placed in the basement, next to the freezer. Cement paint she swished on the basement floor, an old table she set there too! Invite for inspection was sent to Mr. Health Inspector "Indeed you have a public kitchen" said Mr. Health Inspector He stamped the Inspection Notice "Passed Inspection " With a hand written note beside the stamped word "Cleanest Public Kitchen and best dam food in town, bar none!"
