4) Now, seriously consider the merits of these suggestions. Granted, depending on the working status of both spouses, and their individual personalities and needs, some adjustments can be made (see my last post and the part about taking turns cooking after a long day at work). But really...

Is this vision of home life so awful? Is it a Herculean effort (assuming, for a moment, that you are a stay-at-home wife, and perhaps, mother)? If you share the breadwinning duties, how can this set of suggestions be adapted so that you and your spouse can share in these responsibilities, as well?
