Yes, I Can Smile and Still Be in Pain!

Okay, okay. It's December 2, and I still haven't announced the winners. I'm glad I gave myself plenty of time for reading. Otherwise, I still wouldn't be nearly done. But I almost am finished. Each story had merits. Each one touched my heart. And as most of you know, that's how I rate items - on how they touched me.

I'm proud of each of you - for your strength and accomplishments.

I apologize for not being on time with my announcement. I could use the excuse that I visited the emergency room last week. Or that I now have a closet full of medications, many of which just knock me out. But that wouldn't be fair. I did allow plenty of time for reading and deciding.

I will have my decision later today.
