Do you write for publication? What markets? Use market guides? Which ones?

I'd love to test some recipes. Sometimes I love to cook and sometimes I don't. *Laugh*

And about writing for publication...

I usually start out writing for me...when the words just tumble out and have to be written down. But I had my first poem published in a magazine way back in 1969 and my first short story in about 1975.

I don't set out to write something for publication, though. I write for me, then notice that something might be marketable.

My most recent success/sale was something short I wrote about when my dad was first diagnosed with Alzheimer's. It will appear in a Sunday supplement, so that's rather cool. Payment is $75.

Sadly, before I could share that good news with my parents, my dad passed away.

Anyway, how do I get to test recipes?

Blessings,
Kenzie
