Perhaps, find a way to limit how many GPs are taken out for sponsoring. Such as, when you sign up to sponsor your item, you put how much per click, and then how many GPs you want to spend before the bid is automatically deleted.

So, if you wanted to spend only 10,000 on sponsoring an item, when you spend 10,000 on the sponsoring, the bid is deleted and you don't have to worry about signing on a few hours later and finding an extra 5000 taken out of your account for extra clicks.

I don't use the sponsoring, lol, but I think it's a usefull suggestion at least.
