A sanctuary for weary writers, inky wretches, and aspiring professional novelists. |
I have no idea what your schedule is like, but I'll tell you what I do. I have a daughter that I take care of during the day, so I have no time during the day for writing. At night I work and don't get home until 10 or 11. Then I have to pick my daughter up from the babysitter, and get her put to bed. After all this is done, I turn on the computer and write. Even if I can only write 300 words. Just knowing that I wrote something is enough for me. Now, I believe you mentioned a spouse, so that will make things harder for you, because you have to fit them in at some point. All I did was figure out how much time I needed for sleep, and how much time I could spend writing. Even if you have to bring a notebook wherever you go and jot down notes throughout the day, this will be better than nothing. Then when you have some spare time you can transfer all that you have written to the computer. I don't know how much help this is to you, but I wish you luck! ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** Wanna see how I'm doing on my novel??
