Excellent advice.

I'd add to that that she might feel a bit guilty over her feelings for #2. She might try to "punish" herself by denying them for a time, or feeling shocked that she can still respond to this other character. It could take her a while to figure out that it's okay - not disloyal - to love again. She could struggle to put aside the "crush," all the while slowly discovering that it's turned into something deeper. Lots of conflict there, and conflict's always good for a story.
