I don't finish anything, hehe. I have binders and megabytes of unfinished work that I keep saying I'll finish. But that's just it, I always just keep saying I will.
I've found that when I think of an unfinished story, that's motivation enough. I can't let that little inkling slip away or else I'll forget again.
So, if you find yourself sitting doing nothting and you think to yourself clearly, "Hm, maybe I should work on so and so novel," go do it! That one thought can turn into an hours long writing crusade to purge a story if all its bumps and cobwebs.
