Imagine, your piece is good, you know it, somehow, reviewers have told you and they are not all too tolerant and generous. And here comes someone, you don't know why, maybe he made a mistake, maybe he meant it. The only thing you know is that you cannot forget it. I received an anonymous review once. The only reason I can find as an excuse for this (person) was that s/he was very rude. With sentences like "What is that? Is this something you meant to write or a mere mistake?" The review in iself was constructive, it got me to re-write the piece entirely (but I would have done it too had the review been respectuous), but why be so impolite, and if s/he wanted to be so, why not write his/her name so I can say what I think. Hate raters, anonymous reviewers... I just don't get it! If you can say it, then you should own it! All I have to say is that these people do not have brilliant life skills, and I am sorry for them. Have a nice day and I hope no more hate raters around!! Isa. |
