There is a guy on death row in Indiana who is asking for a delay in his execution so that he can donate his liver to his sister. And they have denied it!

I hate the death penalty, it pisses me off so much knowing that our country kills people. I don't care what a person has done, I don't think they deserve to die. I don't think that the death penalty works as a deterrent of crime, and I think that killing someone (anyone) is wrong.

I know that most people favor the death penalty, so I don't expect a lot of agreement here. Actually, I'd love it if someone would post his or her opinion, because I'd like to have a discussion about it. *A discussion, not an argument. I promise.
