Hello and Welcome to the Civil War Contest, grab a seat, take a table, and start writing your piece about the Civil War!
There's not many of us Civil War writers out there,
but I think the Civil War makes an excellent war to make stories on,
while it was a sad and almost unforgiving conflict between our brothers and countrymen, I started this contest as a tribute to the people
who participated in the War, the Generals, the Men and the Soldiers.

I do personally hope you enter this contest, I will be delighted to review your entries and give you in-depth reviews.

Rules

Story word count: Anything from 100 to 5000 words.

All stories based upon my Civil War prompts are allowed, with the exception of the erotica genre.

No cheating, no exceeding the word count limit. Doing so, will result in disqualification from the contest.

Make sure you edit the story properly before you post your entry.

Stories must be written based upon the new prompts that I post.If not, your story will be disqualified.

I will be judging and reviewing all entries.

You are allowed to add imaginary characters and you can turn the prompts the way you like. Be creative! You do not have to stick to historical characters if you don't know much about the civil war. I would like to see your interpretation of these prompts, these events which I have posted. The facts aren't as important in this contest as your creativity. I want you to write about the Civil War from your imagination. What happened? Who did it? Why did they do it?

Fiction entries only, no non fiction entries please.

Deadline :"11:59pm WdC time on August 31st" !

No erotica, items must be 13+, not 18, no erotica and anything irrelevant to the Civil War. Those stories/entries will be disqualified.

You are allowed to write from all rounds.

NOTE: Respect will be maintained between Northerners and Southerners, I don't want to turn this into youtube, where we have all the northerns and southerners fighting. In the Civil War there was respect on both sides. So I request that there be no swearing, no bashing comments, no hatred, please. This is a writing community. The more respect we have for each other, the better we know each other.

Prizes

These prizes may be restricted to first place only, if there are fewer than 5 entries. Accordingly, if there are enough quality entries, prizes may be added to the competition.

1st place: A 10k Awardicon Or A Merit Badge. Winner's choice.
2nd place: 5k Gps
3rd place: 1k Gps
