Update for the week of March 24 to 30, 2025
Writing:
Write 750 words a day - I went over my goal on Friday night. *Checkg*
I have done my Morning Pages each day and asked for guidance when needed.
I've done my check ins for Dragon Vale and Habit Heroes several times this week.
I did two contest entries for WDC and three short stories for The Bradbury. The third short story is too long to include in I Write in 2025 even if I do put it into The Bradbury Contest.
Do reviews for four poems and eight short stories on Deadlines for Writers
Posted short story to Deadlines for Writers - Contract - Wed. March 26 *Checkg*
Work on various projects - poetry, short story and novel.
Participate in as many writing events as I am able:
Mon. to Fri. 9 am Cre8tive Collection - Missed Monday and Friday.
Tues. 7 pm Harlot's Hangout - House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas. This was canceled because one member of our group was in the hospital. She is going to be okay.
Thurs. 7 pm Cre8tive Collection. *X* went for dinner with my mother.
Continue working through Beth Kempton's Substack workshop

Reading:
Goodreads 2025 Reading Challenge: 30 books. Read 8 books so far.
I am doing Rachel's Reading Room Challenge again this year.

Work:
Be prepared to supply each day. I worked a day and a half.
Work through online training that still needs to be completed. Not yet.
Pay OCT membership dues. *Checkg*

Health:
6K steps a day - 3 days over 7K -- 2 of them over 11K. Biggest day = 15,854 steps!
Meditation - mornings and evenings with sight timer.
Water - drink at least 1000 ml a day. All days over 1300 ml.
Body Groove - Elevate Your Fitness - Week #4 - also did a live ZOOM session.
No eating after 8 pm. - Struggled.
No screen time after online meditation or 9 pm. Struggled.
Continue to re-establish my bed time after time for closer to 10:30 pm. Struggled.

Other:
Take out Garbage, Green and Blue Recycling bins. *Checkg*
Take an Artist Date. Friday I went downtown Kitchener. Paid a bill, then shopped then wrote at Matter of Taste.
Getting my Online presence back.
Contact Financial Advisor - he called me *Checkg*
Organize tax details for myself and my mother. Working on this.
Help mother manage her finances and other things (laundry, meals, etc.)
Make appointment with her Cardiologist.
Get the rest of the POA stuff to the proper places.
Get her to do her activities to have her urine tested and return the samples to the lab.
Have to rebook her doctor's appointment as I got a supply position for the afternoons until April 17.
