I wasn’t gonna start this one early because I didn’t have much in the way of commentary for it, but one of the lines in "A Little Light Torture to Start With" today really stuck out to me and I wanted to talk about it.
“Score one for the good guys.”
I honestly love that line. I could be making a mountain out of a molehill, but that line really signifies to me just how warped Will’s morality gets in the Baphomet routes. Will’s done so much shit to Caleb in this branch, he’s doing even more to torment him now, and plans to do so much worse in the future. Yet he somehow sees Caleb as the bad guy here, and himself in the right. It’s fascinating to me. When I read that line, I paused and stopped reading for a minute, completely captivated by how that one line signifies how out of touch with reality Will is right now lol.
Maybe it’s just me fixating on nothing, but I personally found that to be quite the interesting thing for Will say to himself.
