I haven't ever taken a long break. Honestly, since I joined in 2015, I think the longest I've gone without logging on in is a couple of days. There have been times when I've literally just logged on and read the newsfeed or checked a couple of forums. I have always kept my contests updated when they were running (for "Shadows and Light Poetry Contest"  this has been permanently).

When I don't participate much, it's generally because I'm finding it too hard to put into words how I'm feeling, and interacting is too difficult. I guess I went through a few months of that last year. However, taking part in "WDC Dragon Vale "  and "Game of Thrones"  has thrown me back into WDC life, and I'm loving it!

I think of this site as my second home. Sometimes, it' probably fair to say my first home So, while I may withdraw, not actively participate for some time, I will always be here. Because I love it.
