Some help
I know some have had problems with the process using Movie Maker.

I usually use a Mac but tried the process using Windows so that I could put together some brief instructions to help those having probs. This is a great idea Elle. Anyone who gets stuck I'll be happy to help as I'm sure others will:

Step 1
Open Windows Movie Maker (you can download it by just googling).

Step 2
Click "Add Videos and Photos" to open a dialog box. Navigate to and select a still image for the video.

Step 3
Click "Add Music" to open the Add Music dialog box. Navigate to and select your audio recording to add it to the video.

Step 4
Click the "Project" tab and click "Fit to Music."

Step 5
Click the "Home" tab and click "Save Movie" to open a drop-down menu (i.e. don't just click 'Save Movie' but the arrow underneath if you get my drift).

Step 6
Click "Create Custom Setting" to open the Create Custom Setting dialog box. Type "Audio" into the Name box.

Step 7
Type "1280" into the width box and type "720" into the height box. Type "100" into the kbps box and "1" into the fps box.

Step 8
Click the "Audio Format" drop-down box and select a format quality as high as the audio source file (I selected the highest quality for mine).

Step 9
Click "Save" and then "Close" to close the Create Custom Setting dialog box.

Step 10
Click "Save Movie" (the arrow at the bottom of this button) and click "Audio" to open the Save Movie dialog box. Choose a name and location for your saved movie.

Step 11
Now you have your movie you can just upload to You Tube which will need a google login.
