You posted this in a few places, I'll pick here to reply. The value of higher prices awards are for the uniqueness and behind-the-award meanings they possess. They're not often given and they're not easily attained. They stand out among the crowd of lower value awards due, in large part, to their cost. There are currently almost 18,000 items on the "Awarded Items" list. Of those, the vast majority are lower priced ribbons. Perhaps a few hundred trophies/plaques have been given out. When you see them around the site, you're more likely to notice these higher priced awards, and even the higher priced ribbons. That, again, is the value. (If you look, you'll note many of the higher values go to Groups, Contests and other longer term events.) Since CR was never previously attached to Awardicons, what you're noting was never a concern for anyone. The one person with 50 awards was at least 50 times more active than the 1 person with one award. That person with 50 has far more community involvement, likely over a longer period to earn them... thus the CR bump is significant. Best, ~~SM
