End of keeping quiet on?

From where I'm typing, the views on posts here are not only low, they are often merely one view (v) per post. That's okay CLUB, you do what you like to do. However, might rather see some group/ forum participation and post replies, of course.

Now --- there's a site, a writer's free for all, run by a person who goes by Jan Verhoeff. This place is called: A.C.E. WRITERS.com. What you don't know is that a person going by riot dropped out of CLUB in 2008, began an ACE webpage onsite, since defunct, then left wc. But we'll never know whether now re-joined up as a member with a new pen.

On the second ACE --- talk there is repetitious as in mimicking what is certainly widely available all over the worldwide web. Few of the subjects, in other words, contain anything original. Yet, these are presented in what appears to me in a very boring fashion. To moi, as reader, corny comes to mind. Yet the gist runs as if the latest, the finest of the fine --- as if Moses is bringing down the tablets for the first time to his people. This happens all the time when the stale old subject of English or the next step up (for some) --- "Writing" is embarked upon. Umpteen, countless places out there, all doing the same damn thing. BORING!!!!
ALSO: One can glean such sameness re: topic things from textbooks. Hell yeah --- cite the book!

Peeps reading being an audience -- either a few stand by pals or as it is viewable --- the entire world.
Thus can TEFF can use the names above.

On that website --- the thing TEFFY outright dislikes is this constant claim that citations are not nec.

Citations are always required if one did not write the original work. Yes, if you do some research you know to quote the source of the quote you use.

Are we in an age that if we simply find something we claim it as in a blog without a citation? YES!!But this is incorrect, thus the ruffled feathers from CLUB Prez.

What is astonishing about ACE is that this is morphed into the realm of one does the research, therefore the research is thine to use. And it says so, right there. Now how the hell is this possible?

Now, in order to make a quick comparison --- check Suite.101.com. At the end of articles there, one sees almost in every instance published for the I-net audience ... that a ref is given at the end of articles.

Jesus Christ, why not credit the source? As opposed to coming off looking so extremely intelligent, which then becomes egotistical. Because that riter did not share what was just shared by themselves, a fancy-dancy riter. Yeah, left out the w, damn straight!

Here's a personal, as if anyone cares, which with this CLUB's coming off as, snotty, non-player, put down, as in lack of attention or posts or comments or the hell with you-Teff, track record ... **

(Now -- re-reading below looks like garbley gook. Sorry.)

Timewise for CLUB: We see this. In 2007, I was asked personally from wc staff not to approach copyright infringement, or copyright as per topic. This made people feel bad. Ooops. God forbid! I don't write on the P word here. So, I seldom do this as pertains membership on wc. I had one reason and of course let it slide away like a snowball gliding downhill during an avalanche. Thus ever keeping my honest approach to authorship and my growing un-popularity at the same time.

Reality is out there. When we use anything we always should --- at end of the item supply a biblio for fact checking, credence, etc and in the etc lies a complimentary citation where credit to the original author is earmarked for other readers. AKA the source. (If you go all the way back to some of the WAVE's first posts you'll find this source topic.)

Those stellar Writers whose ideas, concepts or words whose work we enjoyed reading & researching go into the citation/ link/ supplier chain. The last sentence taught in grade school, of course. Therefore --- ACE is wrong via flipfloping. The research may be contained inside one's notes, but those places and fine articles we researched --- NEVER! never belongs to us. The proper course and the honest be all is to stop claiming things and instead to address this issue and give credit every single time.

Suppose, the CLUB whereas over 80% who constantly ignore Lil Ole Miss Teffy, already agree or may take this to heart before this forum post. However, all around the net there are spots which are simply re-writing things.
Back in 2006-7 "Invalid ItemOpen in new Window. asked a few NL scripters onsite to cite sources. They agreed and they do, I suppose. Since, I don't read site NL anymore as they bother the hell out of me, sometimes ... not always ... since I do believe we all know how to write ... back to CLUB intro --- we learned it in grade school.

Well, I posted under Gran Dam at ACE, but that won't make the next hour --- on Jul 11, 2010.

Lastly, CLUB, it goes without saying that what you see me write you should always cite April Sunday Author IconMail Icon as the source. Nine times out of ten as research is my middle name, staying inside the lines via citations is the only way to fly.

And yeah, I really did meet Mr.King. As if you were wondering. Val and a few others care, so CLUB bye for now.

** I even was such a dummy girl a while back in years as to ask folks to make me laugh on THE WAVE. Not even that happens, so what the hell do I care (?) If you don't care?

Also -- there's a lot of these writing website looks sees in WRITERS WAR. One place even swipes a popular British newspaper verbatim via the term "library" for his website.

Here's a joke: Myself? I took a few deep breaths, then wrote and asked my plagiarist if we made any money last month? No reply yet and no I didn't receive a check in the mail, so I guess not.

Please send a post, thanks for reading.
