 Take a movie quote prompt and weave a story around it. Contest closed for judging. |
 This contest challenges you to take a quote from a well-known movie and weave it into a story of its own.   Include one of the three prompt quotes as your first line, bold it, and make it relevant to the rest of your story. Stories that are in the horror or erotica genres, or are rated higher than 13+ will be immediately disqualified. Entries must be comprised of no more than 2,000 words. Word count must be included with your entry in the forum post.   First of all, ALL entries will get 1,000 GPs  First place will receive a merit badge of the judge's choice and 10,000 GPs.  Second place will receive their choice of a merit badge of the judge's choice OR 10,000 GPs.  Third place will receive 5,000 GPs. There will only be a first place if there are 2 or more entries. There will only be a second place if there are 5 or more entries. There will only be a third place if there are 9 or more entries.  Choose one of these three quotes to use as the first line in your entry: If you'd like to submit a quote for consideration, you may write ONE quote, rated ASR or lower, in the forum post with your entry. Please include the character who said the line, and what movie it's from. If I later use a submitted quote as a prompt, I will give the first person that offered the quote 1,000 GPs for their suggestion.  This contest is currently closed for judging.  |
