Whether your interest lays in science fiction, fantasy, secret societies, hidden agendas, war, alternate history, mystery, or even a little bit of romance all of these blend well with Steampunk. If you are a fan of Jules Verne or H. G. Wells, you are a fan of steampunk, as they are not only considered pioneers of science fiction in general, but their style is the pattern Steampunk follows: Victorian era science fiction. More accurately, it most often propels the audience into an adventure in an alternate history/alternate universe where steam power is the norm rather than internal combustion.
