I always wonder what's the outside world like? Is it cold or is it warm? Is it spacy or crowded? You may wonder those thing if you're one of them, the Shadow kids. I, Jen Dughber, am one of them. You may wonder, what is a Shadow kid? Well a shadow kid is a child that wasn't supposed to be born because of the Population Law. Population Law is when only 2 kids or 1 is supposed to be born in a family and no more, but I was born because my mother wanted a girl so badly. I live with 2 brothers, Matthew and Chris who are really annoying and loud. Then there's mom and dad, but no pets because my mom said that she'll have 4 mouths to feed, which I founded unfair. I want to go to school someday and learn and become an archaelogist. I envy my brothers so much, but when they get home from school they say they want to be a shadow kid. When they start saying that they get lots of homework and tests I just tell them that is not fun being locked up in your house forever, but they say that because they want to spend all day playing video games.
