The Huntress

My story is based on the work of Thomas Hartmann, author of A.D.D: A Different Perspective.
His theory is that those born with Attention Deficit Disorder aren’t really disabled at all. In the nomadic Hunters and Farmers time, those who had Attention Deficit Disorder were hunters. With their short attention span, heighten sense of awareness and the amount of energy they possess, it makes sense that those with A.D.D. are hunters.
My story takes place in a future where ‘negative genes’ are found within the fetus and repress through a virus. Yet one girl (named X) still has the A.D.D traits. X soon realizes how she is able to use her unique ability for good.
