The Last One

         It all begins when a teenage boy stumbles across a burning village, where people are screaming for help, the raiders who have lit the torches are still there, but when he tries to help he gets captured. The second in command pities him and takes him as a father, who the teenage boy will come to hate and run off years later and finds a new world. In such he gets chased by the raiders because he knows the secretly forming revolutionaries are plotting something big against the Late Eight, the eight distinctly formed magic schools, fire, water, air, life, lore, telepathy, primal, and draconic. That is when he finds out about the newly formed secret path. It sparks the war and he gets dragged into it and gets help from the most unexpected of people.
