REBIRTH

GROUP DESCRIPTION: The year is 1799, a new decade dawns on the world and for many it is a time of wealth, luxury, overindulgences, and raging lusts, whilst for others it is a time of fears and hardships. What none of them know is that the creatures of their nightmares ... things they know only as myths and legends are real, and those myths are now on the prowl. Vampires, werewolves, mages and more silently stalk through the streets ... watching, waiting, playing with, and praying upon those who cross them.

The vampires are merely amused of the mortals and their concerns, for they have no fear of what tomorrow will bring since there always is a tomorrow. Still, two of the three Ancient brothers, Lord Cesario and Lord Malvolio sense more is to come ... a change is due. For better or worse they are as yet unsure, so they are preparing their clans for whatever may come to be safe. Now if only their brother, Lord Gregorio, would stop his earthly wanderings and pay attention to the rather small clan he has sired ... but even the Ancients know better to ask for miracles that are unlikely to happen.

The werewolf clans too sense the change, but unlike the vampires they do not have the resources to prepare. Their numbers grow smaller every year for unlike the vampires, they are far more reckless, and open to the mortal eye. They do not have the magics of the vampires such as the ability to cloud minds or vanish from plain sight. With careless adults and weakened newborns, the Elders fear for what is to come. Some are considering forming a truce with the vampires to gain protection, however that does not sit well with the community. They are tired of hiding in fear of the mortals, but gaining allies with the vampires ... who would be foolish enough to attempt such a thing?

NOTE: This is a slash friendly RP. We welcome newcomers, but only if they are willing to adhere to a few simple rules.

1. There will be NO flaming for what others post. This is not a fanfic, this is a campfire where everyone has the chance to write what they want for their own characters.
2. Plotting off-game is fine as long as it is for your own characters.
3. When going into NC posts please use the <NC> tag so others will know.
4. No spamming the campfire at any time. Only game related posts are allowable.
5. No taking over other characters unless the need calls for it. Do not speak for them, only 'move' them when needed. It is perfectly acceptable to have them do nods, handshakes, growls, etc in order for your character to do what's needed for the scene.
6. If you need to leave the group and have a major character in play, please finish the thread off before leaving. It sucks big time to be in midst of something wonderful only to have your partner dissapear on you and never come back.
7. If you are going to be going on vacaction or have a situation come up please inform the group or me directly so I can let others know and we can write around you till you return.
8. And lastly, we're all here to have fun, so let's do our best to do just that!
