This is a small exerpt from a book that I have been writing. I hope you enjoy it.
[Introduction]
He lurked in the sable corners of the alleyway, waiting for his next victim. His incognito appearance made him able to do his job more easily; therefore, making it so he felt alive, and able to obtain the next person to walk by without any hesitation. He dressed himself in an all black attire; the better to conceal one’s self, he thought. His black sweater and long, black cargo pants concealed his visibility. His head, shaven, was covered with a black, knit cap as well. He waited in silence.
No more than a couple minutes later, a svelte woman strode past, hips swaying in unison to her high-heeled steps. Her clothes, not quite formal, gave off an attractive air. She wore a simple business suit, but with a few touch ups of her own. The blouse, wrinkle free, was unbuttoned down to her chest, allowing her cleavage to push through the thin, silk fabric. The pin-striped skirt reached just above of her knees, and was slit up the sides to show off her toned, long legs. Her blonde hair hung loosely around her petite shoulders, fastened with a fashionable barrette.
His eyes lingered on her, surveying her body as she continued forward. He had given her about fifteen feet in distance before coming out of the shadows; he fell in step behind her. He surveyed her body once more, and liked the view in front of him. He was now in pursuit and nothing was going to stop him. Let the games begin, he thought smugly to himself.
