Online journal capturing the moment and the memory of moments. A meadow meditation. |
L'aura del campo 'é a lua, é a lua, na quintana dos mortos' ♣ Federico García Lorca ♣ L'aura del campo. A breeze in the meadow. So it began the last day of Spring, 2005; on the 16th day of the month of Light of the year 162. This is a supplement to my daily journal written to a friend, my muse; notes I do not share. Here I will share what the breeze has whispered to me. PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS! I LV COMMENTS! Unsettled inspired by Meg Moseman Unseen, unknown, unburning, you came to me... a darkness snuffing flame. I hid my embers and sought to know my enemy. In the blackness I could barely touch your void, a deeper dark rejection. I offered light; you cringed. I offered sight; you shuddered. To know you would be to lose myself. Half-full, half-empty, my inner being sought to bring forth a flame. © Kåre Enga [174.173] (11.july.2017) Red book #57 |
White puffs above Parral Dryscape of braided river beds patches of irrigated green, spotted cloud shade moving over scattered villages... Even 6 miles above Mexico one wonders about the heat. Baked earth describes these thousand shades of tan as turbulence shakes to grab our ugly bags of mostly water. It lets us go with a moan as white puffs lie about rain. Delta flight thirteen-ninety-six carries on. And sixty years after watching my father fly, I fly too. In life, we each have our own destination. © Kåre Enga [174.172] (10.julio.2017) Delta flight 1396 over Mexico. |
Palo de indio I protect my inner pith. My thin skin peeling each time I'm touched. No vine can climb me, cling and choke me. No orchids crown my hair. I stand naked and alone, the center of your attention, never letting us entwine as one. © Kåre Enga [174.171] (8.julio.2017) inspired by the trees of PN Manuel Antonio. |
