Here's what my Saturday was like: Woke up around 12:30pm. Watched tv and ate lunch. Nick picked me and my bro up around 1:40 and went to DAAYO rehearsal (2-5pm). Had him take us home as well. Got home, ate a really quick dinner, and had to dress up for that night's concert. Concert at Eisemann Center started around 6:30 to 7ish. I was concert-master for the second performance. (Actually, I had a choice between being in the first group or concert-master in the second). Anyway, had to stay for the Richardson Symphony performance. They played three Tchaikovsky pieces which are pretty well-known. Before arriving home, Austin's dad took us to Austin's house to hang out and stuff. I watched Austin perform on the piano and man, he's so good. As I was watching him play, it reminded me of how I used to play the piano 5 years ago. I regret quitting it back in 7th grade. How I wish I started taking lessons again...anyway, stayed at Austin's till 1am and had his dad take us home. Watched tv till 3am (the advantages of not having parents home). Unfortunately, I didn't do any of the things that I was supposed to accomplish this Fall Break. Haha, do I ever? I'm such a procrastinator. Hm...maybe I'll start today? I doubt it. My parents are coming home today in the afternoon or at night. They left on Friday afternoon for some family-friends camping trip in Arkansas. Oh yeah, and I saw Red Dragon. I've never seen Silence of the Lambs nor Hannibal, but this one was kinda gruesome. Oooo and that guy who starred in Fight Club is in this one. He looks different with blonde hair. Anyway, Hannibal is in jail and the FBI (the guy from Fight Club) chases down the psycho-murderer. The plot is pretty straight-forward, no twists. Hmm...maybe I should have had a party when my parents were gone? Hehe, that would have made Fall Break a kick-ass one. Anyhow, this entry is more of a what-I-did-today kind of thing, so....nothing interesting. It'll be more interesting later on :P |
