A new blog to contain answers to prompts
Since my old blog "Everyday Canvas Open in new Window. became overfilled, here's a new one. This new blog item will continue answering prompts, the same as the old one.

Cool water cascading to low ground
To spread good will and hope all around.

Prompt: October.
What hopes do you have for October? Write about this in your Blog entry today.

-----

My hopes through October? For myself, alone? That I live through it in one piece, comes to mind.

As for my friends and family, I hope they all stay well and happy and enjoy whatever October offers them.

As for the world, I very much wish and hope that the warring sides anywhere in any country and in between countries stop the fights and try to talk things out reasonably and without accusations.

I am not so sure though that this can be done as nothing works and looks like what it used to be, especially during more peaceful times, as I so miss the ways the people of our world interacted, worked, traveled, and shopped. Those very special moments of community, country, world, and connection to humanity matter to me even more so now, as the fragility of life has moved to the forefront of my mind.

Fragility of life, not because we are all destined to live for only so long, but because unnecessary sudden deaths caused by bombs, missiles, and downright cruelty are ruining the planet and all of us in it.

I so hope, during this October, all the people of our World realize what is at stake and step back and make peace with one another and inside themselves.
