Wonderful poem that links footprints to bits and pieces of our memories over the years.
As we get older, we do leave a mark behind - footprints if you will - and even as they fade away, they'll always linger and be a reminder of what we once were.

Creme tangerine and savoy truffle,
Lose the chart and it's a bit of a shuffle,
Montélimar and a pineapple heart,
Syrupy juices gonna rip you apart.
Walnuts, pecans and raisins too,
Peanut brittle and crystalized goo,
Swimming in chocolate right into your maw,
And so to the taste treat working your jaw.
