Wonderful poem that links footprints to bits and pieces of our memories over the years.
As we get older, we do leave a mark behind - footprints if you will - and even as they fade away, they'll always linger and be a reminder of what we once were.

where aim must never miss
for at the very edge
can be no safety hedge
and risk daily required
is brilliance inspired
but footfall missed at all
