Ja'moir and Ashley had been walking around, fighting creatures, and collecting eggs as they went along in the forest with one goal in mind: to find help. They hoped against hope that the maps the creatures dropped would lead them to a place of help. These creatures were out to kill both of them so they had to defeat them first. They felt sorry about these creatures but knew these creatures belonged to Old Skull, the one who kidnapped the others. All they could do was to search out for help for the others. They were the ones roaming around freely. Too freely it seemed. For now all that they could think about was their kidnapped friends. Ashley didn't know them personally like Ja'moir did. She noticed he was hardcore in his fighting and barely got out hurt while she had to heal a lot and struggled in normal mode. Still, they couldn't afford to lose.

"I think we need to go a different route. These maps lead us to more forest only," Ja'moir complained after the thousandth time it seemed.

"You're right. Oh, wait. This map leads to a building. Not just any kind of building, but a creature castle! There we could get help. Or fall in his trap. He has set up lots of traps but we've slayed them all. Though I don't like the sound of slaying creatures. They were going to kill us if we didn't stop them. Not at all like wild creatures who tend to run away from us and be at lower levels. Wild creatures aren't tamable. Of course," Ashley said and sat down on the root of a tree.

"It may be our only hope. Despite my better judgement, I'd say we go there. Creature castles have powerful magic. Sooner or later we will be able to find help there."

"It's our only hope."

Ja'moir and Ashley set out again and came across a road. They followed the road until they came across more roads and turning to end up into a city. The city was quiet except for a few cars. They walked until they came across the creature castle. It looked modern and there were flying cars and regular cars parked in the parking lot for the sleepers. They gulped. The cars and trucks looked awfully alike, too much alike for their taste. Still, they moved forward. What kind of zone would Old Skull be putting them in at this creature castle and will they ever escape once they enter? There was only one way to find out. They couldn't turn their backs now.

Ashley couldn't stop staring at the eggs she had discovered. She knew there were thieves around. These eggs seemed to be calling out to her. Instinctively, she took a step forward. There was a pure aura around these eggs. She didn't want to mess it up. Then she took another step forward. The draw seemed forceful, she couldn't turn her back no matter how hard she tried. These eggs were stolen by somebody from someone. She couldn't just take them. Still, she felt drawn to them in a mysterious way, as if some mysterious force pulled her in. Eventually, she reached the eggs and touched them. A bright light shone through and they hatched revealing two golden lion cubs. At least that was what she could tell they were. Cats didn't hatch from eggs unless they were a part of the many creatures that existed that needed a bond with a human in order to hatch. Many creatures like this had long lives to live. And they grew in number well if paired up with the same kind.

Then the scene went from a beach to a cave. In this cave were clothes. How long had it been since she had decent clothes to wear, but she noticed these lion cubs weren't just any kind of creatures. They were the Ultimate Epic kind of creatures that only happened once in a million years. Here she was only 10 years old. She couldn't fathom the idea of living that long. Yet the creatures she hatched proved to be the kind. Her first challenge went without being told, just written. To put on these clothes and rings and adjust to her new form. Reluctantly, she did this. Who was the owner and how will she reach out to the owner of these clothes and creatures? This place she came from was filled with thieves. Still, she had to do what was told or else she was trapped in the cave.

After 32,001,352 eggs to bond with later, she was back on the beach as if time had never passed away. There were seven other people on the beach as well. One of them used an invisibility ring in plain sight. She looked offshore and did the same as well. The ship had to belong to the thieves. Six people scrambled about with their creatures and clothes, promising their creatures to find their owners. Still, she couldn't come out of hiding and neither did that boy that went into hiding. She moved onto the rocky part and covered up her tracks the best she could. It looked almost natural.

"Six egg nappers from my ploy. Just what I wanted. Only none of you are affected by my potion of transformation of mind control and power. I will give you something handsomely if you obey me. Take them all my lads," the head of the rowboat said and began attacking the other six all at the same time.

All she could do was to wait. Then she realized it was Old Skull, the former Guardian of the World who had turned to dark magic for power and knew there was no way she could stand a chance against him. While the others did okay against his goons, they were no match against Old Skull. She knew she faced the same fate in getting captured if she revealed herself and waited. That boy would be her only hope in getting out of here. He seemed calm, cool, and collected before going invisible. Old Skull snooped out the beach for more for a while and said the date. July fourth, 6000. She had been gone from her home for only two months but it already felt like more. Finally Old Skull was the last to leave leaving nobody behind but an empty beach. They waited until near dusk when the ship left before revealing themselves to each other.

"Hello. My name is Ja'moir. What is yours?" Ja'moir asked.

"Ashley," Ashley replied.

"We just survived our first encounter of Old Skull, that villain who wants to rule the world. We must thwart his plans by working together and getting out of this mess first. Are you with me?"

"Yes."

"I never want to see you again."

The witch trembled in the corner. I thought I had her cornered and the fight was over. I stared around at the humble cottage. Everything looked like a mess from the fight. Then I noticed she held a potion in her hand. A trap or last minute ditch I assume. She cackled.

"Then it should go with style," she responded and threw the potion at my feet. It landed just a few inches away and the glass broke and a fume came out.

"I'm not having anymore of your- meow," I argued feverishly as I suddenly felt dizzy and growing smaller. Then it felt as if I couldn't stand on my two legs anymore. I had four instead. I was turned into a cat!

"Good luck. This place belongs to me now," the witch cried out.

I ran upstairs to my bedroom. There my fiance was watching me. Then I knew what she was going to do. She was going to kiss me. I heard about princes turned into frogs then back into princes by a kiss, so I figured that wouldn't hurt. I would be able to save my place based off of a kiss now. She kissed cats a lot naturally. And now I was one of them.

Bert wanted nothing of the sort. Everything bored him. There was nothing left to do and nowhere to turn to. He headed down the stairs and walked out the door. Few moments later the eviction people came to empty the apartment of his things. He saved his belongings what he wanted to save. His phone, computer, important papers, and some clothing. He sighed. Now he wondered who would take him in now that he was jobless and homeless. Nothing felt right. His landowner had died of a heart attack. And now he was on the street. He lost his job last night since it was temporary work. He knew it was coming. Job he wasn't worried about though, it was a place to stay that was hard to find. Now that he had lost everything he had to start over from scratch.

"Hey buddy. Looking for a new job?" his neighbor Alley asked from across the street. "Sorry to hear that your landlord had died by the way. It's rough to lose your only place to live."

"Yes, now I'm looking for a job. Any leads?" Bert asked hopeful. He had parked his car out of the way so that it wouldn't get towed without notice.

"Silverstine is hiring. Go check there. They offer good pay and hard work. This kind of work can last for days at a time," Alley replied cheerfully.

"Good to hear. I'll go over there right now."

"Good luck. You're going to need it."

Bert drove over to where Silverstine was located on his GPS and then waited in line to fill out an application and get a spot in the hiring interview section. He needed a job no matter what. His credit was good so he stood a good chance of finding another place to live, which was going to be hard to find. While he waited he was handed over an application and filled that out and waited to get on the list for interview. When his turn came he found his interview had to be scheduled in three days time. Not blaming them for this, he went to his car and spent money to stay at a hotel for 30 days. There was a chance he wouldn't be able to move in right away.

Three days past and the time for his interview arrived. He drove back slowly and parked in the interviewee parking spot. Then he went straight to the desk and got settled in immediately. They called him in promptly and the interview began. After a series of long questions they gave some details about what this job was about. Exploring and making peace among magical inhabitants so others could visit this land as well. The kind of job he could only dream about doing. After saying yes he could do this kind of thing, he got hired on the spot. His first mission was to make peace among the goblins.

Terry yawned. This wasn't the first time he had woken up early. But his flight wasn't until five hours from now and he needed to prepare. Learning to fly had been a challenge and he wasn't giving up. He had a few successful attempts and wanted to make a good impression. All of the circuits had been memorized and he felt well prepared for it. The plan was in tip top shape as he liked to call it. The flight was going to be a short flight but still an important one. This trip was about delivering a special suitcase to Mr. Fox. The big TV man made special arrangements to pick it up personally from the plane at a specific time. He couldn't be late either.

Getting dressed and eating his breakfast, he noticed something was off. The winds were unfavorable. Yet his flight was still to happen. He gulped. He never flew in unfavorable conditions before. Still, he wanted to make a good impression. He took care of everything in the house and then left to check in. Three hours to go. The drive was a good hour and it would take an hour to get things ready for take off there. He needed the time. When he got there he found a commercial flight was delayed to take off at the time he was suppose to take off. Frustrated, he waited. He was going to be late.

The time came for him to take off. The plane went as it was suppose to and the lift off went smoothly. The air around him was turbulent though and he thought of going back. No, he had to press forward. He had to make a good impression to Mr. Fox. He flew through the air until he was almost there. Then a bird got caught in the engine of one wing and caused that engine to falter. Almost there he told himself. He had to make an emergency landing though.

Down he went and he managed to make it onto the landing platform where his destination was. Still he was going a tad too fast. Quickly he slowed the plane down as much as it would allow him and then made a stop short of his destination. His engine smoked where the bird went in and he moaned. Now he was without a plane for a while. He needed a new engine. All his hard work! But then he heard he got promoted for his bravery to face the danger and was granted a new plane to fly.
