The American Kennel Club recognizes 200 dog breeds. The first breed to be recognized was the pointer. The FCI (otherwise known as the International Canine Association) recognizes 360 breeds! Know all we need to know is who let the dogs out!

Ever think it weird that totally different words can be the same word? For example, ball means a spherical object used for throwing or kicking. Meanwhie, ball means a fancy party that is usually very dressy. So we have ball and ball. Two words that are one and they have nothing to do with one another!
