I mentally took a walk down memory lane this morning and I realized something. Of all the kids shows I watched when I was little (yes I was little once ) the one that probably had the most profound impact on me was Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. It was indeed "a wonderful day in the neighborhood" when I saw him walk in the door, put up his sweater, greet the "black" postman, and send the little red trolley on it's way to that magical kingdom of puppets who taught me many things during my early stage of life.
What is your favorite Mr. Rogers moment? How has his show impacted you then and does that impact still linger now?
I'm a cop and I once had to pull over Schnujo's Giving Away GPs. When she asked me why I pulled her over I had to tell her that she was so destractedly pretty that people were looking at her rather than the road.
Can cook with fire breath (great for starting campfires), can shelter from rain with large wingspan, can fly to work or do errands, can intimidate muggers and bullies, and last but not least can give the best slobbery kisses and wrap around hugs. Call 1-800-THE-DERG.
PS. Will work for belly rubs, head scratches, and/or Derg Snax.
