Words: 141 // Lines: 34 For: "PromptMaster !" ![]() They came, they saw ... they thought they'd conquered. Poor, deluded beings! They swam, they crawled, On two legs they lumbered Think themselves kings and queens! They gathered, they hunted They trapped, they tamed They destroyed so they could build. They mechanized, automated They fought and maimed They armed themselves, they killed. They bred, they multiplied They laughed while others cried They took more than a fair share Care? Do you think they care? They lost all their instincts What's left just stinks But it won't be long Humans will get too strong Then humankind Leaving no trace behind Will perish Is this nature's wish? No, nature is mother father, sister, brother Nature hopes mankind Will one day find A conscience, collective and learn to give. Nature wants harmony Humans want money As long as humans want more There's doom in store. |
