Take UP Your Cross Blog Prompt: Describe a season of life where you experienced significant spiritual growth. What were the catalysts for this growth? I think the most significant change came when I began reading the Bible for myself and spending intentional time in prayer. Prayer prompt: Pray for the work of worldwide missions organizations. Dear God, Provide what is needed in worldwide missions organizations and for the work that they do. Provide people to do the work also. Strengthen their faith and encourage them. Read, review, and write about this item. This poem is about how we need to take care of the earth. It is a very nice read and easily relatable.
March is noted for its good luck quotes because of St. Patrick's day. What good luck quote makes you smile? Did someone special in your life say it to you? I got a chuckle out of a quote on a t-shirt the other day that I saw at Walmart. It was green and said, "Not today Pinchers!" I said out loud, "I needed this when I was in school." On this day in 1965, state troopers used nightsticks and tear gas to attack American civil rights activists as they crossed a bridge in Selma, Alabama, during their attempted march to the state capitol in Montgomery. Are you concerned that history is repeating itself with all the recent changes to equal rights and diversity rights? History always has a way of repeating itself. I am not sure if that is what's happening though. My thinking is that Bible prophecy is playing out. I think it is hard to find the balance between good and evil. I think Christians have gotten complacent concerning some topics and society has rebelled against God. I think even us Christians have rebelled against God, and we are seeing the results of our disobedience. ![]() ![]() |
