Prepping for a woman's western
Day One
What If?

What if a small ranch in the early 1900's needs to get cattle to market by the deadline, but don't have trucks or motorcycles to get them there in a hurry? They need a cattle drive, old-fashioned for the short distance, not by road, to the rail road stockyards in time. The owner is older and can't do it anymore. The foreman has injured his leg and didn't help right away. He is too sick to make it.
The daughter is the only one left to be trusted. She is good on a horse and knows cattle and market prices. But will the men follow her? Can she take 24 hours a day outdoors with rough men who don't especially like a lady boss, particularly such a young one? Can she handle the difficulties that arise? Does it have to be a romance?
