Well, hey there!
Welcome to Roundup, Montana! If it's a nice day, we'll sit a spell on my porch and talk awhile.
A poem captured my attention the other day.
Even in our sleep, pain which cannot forget
Falls drop by drop upon the heart,
Until, in our own despair,
Against our will,
Comes wisdom
Through the awful grace of God.
Small town drama is more in-your-face. It cannot be swept under the rug. I feel for that teacher. Someone that sensitive should not be a bully principal. I wish healing and no more illness for you.
Is it possible that the tooth kraken escaped the dentist and is causing all this problem in town? Well, at least you can't say life has been boring. Time to look up kraken kurses for a cough solution.
I can believe the pettiness. Kudos to the kids. Gotta love bigger city TV stations. Sorry that your hamlet will bear the brunt, but pettiness needs to be called out.
I'm just getting done with my seasonal battle of the creeping crud. It took a week to start feeling like I was winning and almost another week to get cleared up enough to sleep without waking up to coughing fits.
Well, weather here is very voggy. That's haze and particulate with some SO2 thrown in from the belching volcano. The winds are almost nil and have a tendency to blow in circles due to the four mountains on isle so it doesn't go away. Yesterday, you could barely tell there was an ocean and couldn't tell what color it was. The mountains look like ghosts through the vog, when you can see them. They're only twenty miles away!
At least no health problems, except breathing the vog. Stuck in Moderate range and hasn't approached Unhealthy fortunately. Suppose to get some trade winds in a day or two that will push this stuff away. If not, we may need to send a sacrifice into the volcano.
Trying not to think about the messes around the world, but you're right.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels "out of sorts" about health issues. Not that I would wish stuff on anyone. I'm glad you don't have the "ugly" creepy crud. The non-ugly is bad enough. Hopefully, Spring is on its way, and soon you will be feeling better.
Texas is throwing out temp numbers like it's the Powerball. 80 one day, 40 the next. I'm ready to start complaining about the hot weather...LOL.
Like you, I've also been remiss about my writing, but have decided that March is my new year.
Blessings to you, and prayers for recovery, both body and spirit.
Today is Groundhog Day. And right now it is snowing. Plus the temperature is dropping. It is supposed to be about 2 degrees for a high tomorrow with the temperature dipping below zero tomorrow night.
But it is winter. So right on schedule!
